🧾 Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

(Optional topping: powdered sugar, cream cheese drizzle, or white chocolate drizzle)

🥣 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  7. Let cool before slicing. Dust or drizzle if desired.
