- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for drizzling)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the breading stations: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a third.
- Coat the chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly in breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake: Arrange chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Add sauce and cheese: Spoon marinara sauce over each piece, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
