Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

These Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos are crispy on the outside and loaded with a creamy, cheesy chicken filling inside. They’re baked (not fried!), easy to make, and perfect for busy weeknights, game day, or a fun family dinner.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

🥣 Instructions

Serve warm with your favorite dips.

Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, sour cream, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

Warm tortillas slightly so they’re pliable.

Spoon chicken mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla.

Roll tortillas tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Lightly spray taquitos with cooking spray.

Bake for 18–20 minutes, until golden and crispy.


💡 Simply Made Tip

For extra crispiness, flip taquitos halfway through baking. These also reheat well in the oven or air fryer.
