Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 sleeve buttery crackers (such as Ritz), crushed
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven

Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.

2. Make the creamy filling

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

3. Add chicken and cheese

Fold in cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese until evenly combined.

4. Assemble the casserole

Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

5. Add the topping

In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.

6. Bake
