Ingredients
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting wafers
- ½ cup hot cocoa mix
- ½ cup mini marshmallows
- Optional: crushed peppermint, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips for filling
- Optional for decorating: white chocolate drizzle, festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Coat molds: Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each cavity of a silicone half-sphere mold. Use the back of the spoon to spread evenly along the sides. Chill 10 minutes, then add a second coat for strength.
- Set shells: Chill again until firm, about 10 more minutes, then carefully remove chocolate halves from molds.
- Fill: Add 1 tablespoon of hot cocoa mix and several mini marshmallows to half of the chocolate shells.
- Seal: Warm the edge of an empty shell slightly on a warm plate, then gently press it onto a filled half to seal.
- Decorate: Drizzle with melted white chocolate and top with crushed peppermint or sprinkles if desired.
- To serve: Place one bomb in a mug and pour over 1 cup of hot milk — watch it melt and stir to enjoy!

💡 Simply Made Tip:
Use good-quality melting chocolate or couverture for the smoothest, shiny finish. Keep molds cool while working to prevent fingerprints and softening.
