Ingredients
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 cups cooked or canned green beans (drained)
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions (divided)
- Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for extra richness
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together soup, milk, salt, pepper, and half of the fried onions.
- Stir in the green beans (and cheese if using) until well coated.
- Pour into a 9×9-inch baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
- Top with remaining fried onions and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
