- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (14.5 oz) can black beans, drained + rinsed
- 1 (14.5 oz) can corn, drained
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chiles)
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened + cubed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Tortilla strips (for topping)
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, cilantro, lime wedges, avocado

- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño; cook 5 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes more.
- Stir in chicken broth, black beans, corn, Rotel, and shredded chicken. Bring to a gentle boil.
